Stream of Consciousness: Part 1

Stream of consciousness: December 7th is my next show at Evelyn Hotel in Melbourne. It's been a whirlwind  of emotions and events in the past few months: going back to Canada, seeing friends and family, writing, performing and trying to get my life "organized" (whatever that means). I'm now back in Australia and trying to get my goals and life sorted out. I'm never really sure where I'm supposed to be or what to do. I guess it's really just music that makes me feel somewhat sane and allows me to express whatever hardships or joys I encounter. Music is my passion but it's also something I want to pursue as a career. So I decided to take up drawing as a hobby. It's a nice outlet to dwell into when I don't want to do "work."
Yes I do think music is a difficult industry and nobody cares especially if you aren't another Brittney Spears or Beyonce. But I know there are some people that care about listening to good and different music. I've been listening to a variety of things lately like The Dear Hunter, Badbadnotgood, Russian Circles, Coheed and Cambria, Adele, Tori Amos, Half Moon Run.....etc. I find joy in every artist. It really depends on my mood what I want to listen to.
Anyways I guess what I mean is we should allow ourselves to be different and not like everyone else. No one is the same anyways. Sometimes I wonder if music is even worth continuing, then I think,"I can't give up. Why give up when it brings you joy and allows you to create and release emotion. You can create however you want and who gives a shit what everyone else thinks." That's my mind talking.........

Music Video Answers - thank you everyone!!

Yesterday I released my new music video "Answers."

Music Video coming out Feb. 6th!!

Today I just released an "a cappella" sample of my song Answers. I'll be releasing my music video for this song this Saturday February 6th!! (Melbourne, AUS, time).

My heart and soul went into this song and I'm really happy how it turned out. Thanks a million to Shawn Burgess for recording, mixing and mastering this song and my entire EP which will be released Feb. 27th.  I hope you enjoy more goodies to come your way.....
